• DUES are 40 dollars a month
• FIRST & LAST MONTHS DUES are due when you start.
• Your dues are due at the first practice of each month.
• If your dues are paid after the first two weeks of the month, there is a five-dollar late fee.
• If you choose to take a few weeks off of fast 4ward, but come back to a single practice in the same month, your full dues are due.
• If you miss an entire month of practice, and come to one performance (that month), your full dues are due.
• If you miss an entire month of practice and performances, then your dues are not due for that month.
• Lack of payment will result in NO Participation.
• There is a ONETIME REGISTRATION FEE of 15 dollars when you first join the team.
• This registration fee includes a current Fast 4Ward t-shirt.
• If you would like an additional Fast 4Ward shirt, they are 15.00 each, and you may request them from Valerie at a practice or shop online HERE.

• The way that Fast 4Ward will keep in contact with you is by Newsletter, Internet, and Calendar. This will give you all the current information that you will need. If you miss a practice and do not receive the information, it is up to you to go online and get all the information you need. Below are the places that you will need to look to update yourself.

• No team member is allowed to perform a dance routine, or series of dance moves, learned in Fast 4Ward, at any other performance, or with, or for any other dance team, without Valerie’s. (director of Fast 4Ward) permission.
• No team member can teach dance routines, or any series of dance moves, learned in Fast 4Ward to non-members of Fast 4Ward, without Valerie’s permission.
• No team member is allowed to be in a leadership position, on another dance team, and also be a part of Fast 4Ward. If this involves you, please explain your situation to Valerie.
• If any of these rules are broken, you will not be able to attend Fast 4Ward, and Fast 4Ward can prosecute to the full extent of the copyright laws.
• Please Understand: I have had many kids teach the dances that they are learning to other kids, and although I know it is all in fun, however I have come across a situation where another team is now performing moves, and dance routines that I have choreographed. I want these dance routines, and moves to be original for Fast 4Ward. Thank you for your understanding. & if you are wanting to perform one for a talent show, ect, please just ask permission, thank you.

• All members of the team are required to have a:
• Black tank top leotard (no spaghetti straps) SHOP ONLINE (Fast 4Ward has better prices then at a dance store, please order HERE, and we will bring it to practice)
• Black socks (in the Halloween Season 2009, not currently required)
• Black dance shoes (in the Halloween Season 2009, not currently required) SHOP ONLINE (Fast 4Ward has better prices then at a dance store, please order HERE, and we will bring it to practice)
• Please apply makeup as followed unless otherwise noted:
· Do make up that looks age appropriate, and good.... feel free to up do with glitter and rhinestones. Eye shadow, mascara, blush, & lipstick a must!
• Hair - needs to be done to show your individuality, personality, and style. Hair must be done neat, & cute... spend more then ten minutes! be creative! have fun! be proud!
• Always come only in what I ask of you. I will always fully inform you of what you need to do and bring, from head to toe. If you come differently I will be asking you to change, so that you end up looking identical to the team. Please do not add adornment to you that would make you different from the team, if you have an idea, present it to me at least two weeks in advance, from there I would decide if the entire group able to do it also.
• Bring a makeup bag, I do not like sharing make up of any kind. This is for the health of your child and the group.
• Label all items with your child’s name.
• Make sure your child appearance is neat, clean, and professional.
• Always wear underwear, and a bra. For younger ages, sport bras are acceptable.

| Typrical Show Expectations
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
This is a brief summary of what you will be expecting at a show:
• Arrive in make up, and previously given attire,& come on time.
• Wait!
• Get ready on time, quickly and in a hurry.
• Wait!
• Set up the show, stage wise
• Wait!
• Performance starts, Wait! For your turn.
• Clean up!
• ~~There is a saying in show business~~
• ~~~HURRY UP AND WAIT!~~~
• Arrival – when arriving at a performance, you must come to the meeting spot, and check your child in with the assigned parent. (not with other friends) If you are car polling and in charge of more then just your child, you will need to check all of them in. Once your child has arrived, there is no leaving, to go shopping, look around, or anything else. Your child will be directed to stay with the group as we get ready and wait to do our performance. (if you are a member of Fast 4Ward, and you drive, you are considered an adult to check yourself, and other members that drove with you, in and out)
• During the show – your child is not allowed to leave and go see anyone in the audience, and vise versa, parents, relatives, and friends, can not come backstage, or to the waiting area to chit chat, or just say hi. All members must stay in the designated area, out of sight from the stage, until the show is over with. For older kids, you are not allowed to “cat” call at passing “cuties.”
• Leaving – all members must clean up all their stuff – return their costume properly, and then check out with the assigned parent. The person who checked you into the performance, must also check you out, or have provided a note otherwise. AFTER you have checked out and cleaned up, then you may do as you wish, enjoy the event we are at, or simply go home.

Practice Conduct
• Please always be on your best behavior and paying attention in class, so that dances may be done quickly.
• Please wear clothes to practice that you can freely move in, no jeans. Also make sure that you are not overly revealing in your clothes.
• There is no leaving practice, to go to the store or off the Garden Home premises unless there is a written notice from your parents on file, AND you have informed me, Valerie, of your where abouts.
• You must wear your dance shoes to each practice. (in the Halloween Season 2009, not currently required)
• Your dues are due on the first practice of every month.
• You cannot dance with Fast 4Ward unless your parent has signed an insurance release form.
Show Conduct
• Always be on your best behavior, never rude or completive about different circumstances. If a problem arises please inform me, Valerie, and let me handle the situation.
• Come ready, please do not get ready at a performance site, most times there will not be adequate room for all to be getting ready, nor is there enough time.
• No leaving at a show to go to the store or look around at different events going on. Please wait for our show to be done and you check out before enjoying your time.
• At most events that have an admittance fee, Fast 4Ward will only provide admittance fees for Fast 4Ward members only. If possible volunteers will be paid for also.
• Please come early and stay after for, set up and clean up. I will always have many things that need to be carried, and helped with.
• We do not provide transportation to or from shows, transportation is your responsibility.
• No eating during or at show, or an hour before your show starts
• Water is a good thing!!!

• Under no circumstances may you eat or drink (besides water) in your dance costume.
• Under no circumstances may you wear any part of the costume home. (when applicable)
• Your costume will need to be checked in and out. (when applicable)
• If you do not return any part of the costume, OR carelessly ruin a part of the costume, you will be asked to pay for the cost of the item so that the Fast 4Ward performance team may replace it. (when applicable)
• If you do the deposit costume fee, all policies stated on the policy must be followed and the full deposit is due before taking your costume home. You are financially responsible for any/all part of your costume that is misplaced, lost, or damaged. (when applicable)

• I will always need a number of adults to help in these areas, please let me know how you can help so that your child’s show can be at its best.
• If you are a parent that continually helps, if it is possible, at events with gate fees Fast 4Ward will pay your admittance fee.
• All parent volunteers must be wearing a parent Fast 4Ward shirt, you may purchase them through me at one of the practices or online at SHOP.
• All parent volunteers need to check with me about what position they will be doing at a show so that I may provide them with a current bagde.
• There are many things you can volunteer doing....
• § Helping with costumes
• § Helping with keeping kids in order
• § Stage manager
• § Watching the children, right before they walk on stage
• § Keeping in contact with me at the music area
• § Someone to help run sound, and/or special effects
• § Carrying costumes, and props for the show
• § Show clean up.
• § Just general help!
• Volunteers are by Valerie’s approval only. They must be a positive adult role model; no yelling or profanity will be tolerated. Need to treat children with respect, dignity and a positive attitude. Must be willing to be supportive, caring, helpful, and follow Valerie’s directions
• Volunteer waiver must be signed
• Every volunteer must be wearing a Fast 4Ward shirt.
• These guidelines are strictly enforced and failure to adhere to these said guidelines will result in loosing volunteer privileges.

Attendance
• If you cannot attend a practice, please call/text my cell 503-740-2145
• If you cannot attend a show please make sure that you inform me in advance at practice, and know that there are performance year around. No worries.
Belongings
• Make sure you and child is responsible for their items, Fast 4Ward is not responsible for lost or stolen items, nor does Fast 4Ward hold a lost and found.
• Please bring a marked bag that your child is able to put all of their belongings in (including shoes) until the show has ended.
Visiting People
• When bringing friends to a show, always make sure that they are with an adult, they will not be able to “hang out” back stage.
• Once a Fast 4Ward member has checked in, messages may be passed through me or a volunteering parent... but no friends or family members are allowed to be backstage, before, during or after the show.
